2018 has been a whirlwind of a year, and I want to catch you up to speed as far as where Cornerstone is at.
In August of 2018 we received our 501(c)(3) status! Yay! What does this mean? Well this means Cornerstone is officially considered a not-for-profit organization. We are also able to apply for some bigger grants in hope of opening our doors soon.
Cornerstone has hosted a few events this year, here is a recap of them...
In the beginning of March we hosted a silent auction gala to invite people to come and find out more of what we were doing. It was an excellent turnout with great friends, music, speakers and more. We even got some coverage from the local new station, it really put Cornerstone on the map!
Flash forward to July and August Cornerstone partnered with Festival Foods and we were able to host two brat fry events to raise funds!
Currently, we are selling coffee mugs and planning for a benefit concert in early 2019!
We are so excited to continue moving forward with the project and we thank each one of you for your continuous support and prayer.
