Many people know that January is "National Awareness Month" for Human Trafficking... We can learn the facts, read the stories, and see the pictures, but do we take the time to actually be aware that it is happening right outside out back door?
In Wisconsin alone, the National Human Trafficking Hotline reported that there were 150 calls reporting human trafficking in 2017.
The average age of a human trafficking victim is 12-14.
70% of victims are under the age of 18.
Cornerstone Coffee and Cafe was founded because these facts are not just in some foreign country. They are here, in the United States, in Wisconsin, in Green Bay.
We believe that these women deserve a second chance at life, to find what they love, and to be able to chase after it. We are so excited to be a stepping stone for these women.
Join us at our first annual fundraiser, March 3rd, 2018! As we dive, head first into fighting the good fight.
